Little George was only 5 mos. old when he died and was buried on the Tannahill farm. His parents loved his dearly and so two years later this announcement was in the Columbus Journal:

TANNAHILL--Thursday of last week Mr. John Tannahill removed the remains of his son Geo. Tannahill from his old home in Butler county, to the Columbus cemetery.
