Mr. Richardson graduated from Pittsburg High School. He attended Kilgore College and then went on to attend the University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He served in the United States Army where he was in the Signal Corps during WWII. He was retired from Tx Dot where he worked for forty- two years as a Civil Engineer.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his daughter; Nan Richardson of Pittsburg, and his loving caregivers Sherrie Cromer, Earl Dean Brooks, Lanell Cavender, and Lucas Ashcraft.
He is preceded in death by his wife of forty-one years, Joy Patton Richardson, his parents, and two brothers, Truman Richardson and Rev. Charles Richardson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, August 30, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg with burial to follow in Blevins Cemetery in Morris County.
