Son of William and Ivy Oliver. Leaves behind to mourn him are three daughters, one son and 10 grandchildren. Served in the Army during the Korean War and awarded the Bronze Star. Graduated college as a Geologist, working in the oil and gas industry. Recognized as an expert geological witness for the Texas Railroad Commission. He built by his own two hands a lovely home on Toledo Bend.
