Bobby Lee Humble of Chatsworth, Georgia died at the age of 76.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis, he was a Navy veteran aboard USS North Hampton. He was a member of Total Praise Baptist Church.
He was survived by his wife Peggy Humble; his son, Michael Humble (and Holly); his daughter Beth Humble; four grandchildren; his brothers, Tom Humble of Dalton, Georgia and Jackie Humble (and Dee-Dee) of Braselton, Georgia; his sister, Mildred Sanders of Dalton, Georgia; his brother in law, David Wells, his sisters-in-law, Patricia McCoy of Chatsworth, Georgia and Edwina Grice of Newnan, Georgia; and many other family members.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Christine Humble; his daughter, Sharon Lee Humble; and his brother, Eddie Gene Humble.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Stocks officiating. Full military honors were provided by the American Legion Post 167, Chatsworth, Georgia.
