Son of Alexander M. (Lucy N. Adami) DeLong Jr. Survived by wife, Barbara Dugan; daughters, Annette DeLong of Rockford, Jennittia (Paul) LaRue and Wendi (Greg) Vasquez; step-daughter, Melinda (Scott) Dugan; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Rae (Tom) Vowles, Laura (Kirk) Colcord of Rockledge, Fla., Kathleen (Jim) Fisher and Lucy Ann Hotchkiss; many nieces and nephews, special friends, Joe and John; and his faithful companion, Nikki. Predeceased by parents. Memorial gathering Oct. 3, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., with military honors at 6:30 p.m.
