Randy Sturgeon, 54, of Fairview Heights, IL passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his residence. Randy was born on December 23, 1964 in E. St. Louis, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Irene (Rogers) Sturgeon and a nephew, CliftonBell.

Randy worked as a plumber by trade. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and NASCAR fan. Most of all he loved his family. He attended St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville. If you met Randy, you made a friend. He had many friends who love him and will miss him dearly. As we here on earth have lost an angel, Heaven has gained one.

Friends may celebrate Randy's life on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home in Belleville. To honor Randy's love of the Cardinals, the family suggests wearing Cardinal gear if you would like. Randy will be laid to rest with his parents at Valhalla Gardens of Memory following the service.
