Born January 21, 1947, she was the second daughter of William Vest and Nancy Scott Riley. She attended Immaculate Conception grade school, New Madrid High School, and Murray State University where she majored in music. She was a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Church, where for over half of her life she devotedly played the organ for her parish.
She is survived by her seven children, ten grandchildren and two sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, William Riley Allgier and Nancy Ann Allgier and a sister, Celia Ann DeLisle.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at Richards Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 7:30. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church with the Reverend Jarek Skrzypek officiating. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery."
