Anthony “Tony” Frederick Ward of Florissant, Mo., passed away at SSM DePaul Hospital, Bridgeton, MO, on August 23, 2019 at the age of 70.
He was born October 17, 1948 in Derby, England.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Donna (McDermott) Ward, married 36 years & together 37; a son, B. P. (N.) of Nottingham, England; 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Williams all of Nottingham, England: His beloved dog, Watson. Tony was a devoted brother-in law & beloved uncle.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank Ward of Derby, England and Hetty (Ward) Cooper of Nottingham, England and sister Joan (Ward) Parsons.

A retired Driver/transporter/support provider of people with disabilities for SSM Health Systems, Gateways, OATS and Emmaus Homes. While in England he was a printer for the Nottingham Evening Post.

A lifetime supporter of Derby County Football Club in Derby, England, he also enjoyed many sports, working crossword puzzles, bingo cards and watching game shows.

Cremation will be conducted at Hutchens Mortuary & Cremation Center.

A Celebration of his life will be conducted at a future date and time.
