James “Bino” Moreno , 47, of Sterling, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Tennant Funeral Home with Vigil and Rosary Service to follow at 2 p.m. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Tennant Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Michieli officiating.

Bino was born on March 1, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas, to Jose Moreno and Guadalupe Zarate. He graduated from Holyoke High School and was a stay at home dad. He married Monico Moreno on June 20, 2009 in Sterling. They had been together for seven and a half years. He enjoyed watching the Broncos and the CU Buffs. He enjoyed hot wheels, building, drawing and Marilyn Monroe.

He is survived by his wife, Monica; children, Matthew of Sterling, Andrew of Fort Drum, N.Y., Aleenna of Sterling, Patrick, Trinity, Nicholas, all of Sterling; and three grandchildren, Ashton, Seth, and Sophia Moreno; brothers and sisters, Olga (Rick), John (Theresa), Roy (Cindy), Isidro (Joann), Tony (Yvonne), Mario (Mary), Dora (Robin), and Erma; 19 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Guadalupe; and brother, Abel Moreno. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the James Moreno Memorial Fund in care of Tennant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.--Tennant Funeral Home & Crematory
