Roger died August 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1956, in Alcorn County, Mississippi, to the late G. B and Myrtle Perry Burns. He was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church, a 1974 graduate of Kossuth High School. He was retired from Coca-Cola of Corinth after 34 years, as a service technician. An avid Ole Miss Fan, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and keeping up with his family, adopted family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Burns; parents; brother, James Burns; sister-in-law’s Bettie Burns and Lorene Burns; nephew, Michael Wayne Burns; father and mother-in-law Scotty and Barbara Easley.
He is survived by his sons, Brad Burns (Dana), Bubba Garner, Will Burns; special friend, Bonnie Lancaster; special daughter, Baillie Lancaster Cook (Marshall) brothers, Jerry Burns, Leon Burns (Paulette), George Burns; sisters, Sherry Putt, Paula Little; sister-in-law Toddie Burns; grandchildren Makenzie, Alexandra and Nicole Burns, Braiden, Kade and Drake Garner, Carter McNeese, Danikate McNeese, Easton McNeese, Fisher McNeese; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
