Donald was an active and dedicated member of Ashton United Church. Peacefully in hospital with family by his side at Perth, Ontario on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his first wife Edna and his second wife Zelma. Survived by his sisters Margaret Hockney (late Jack), Joan McDiarmid (late Jack), Evelyn Paul (Larry) and Janet McEwen (John). He will be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great- great- nieces and great-great nephews. Predeceased by his sister Marjorie Kingsley (late Wilson). Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from to 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Dewar Cemetery.
