Christopher Carson Greene, 48, fought his journey with cancer and the Lord called him home peacefully on August 26, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 12, 1971, the son of John Steven Greene and Deborah Long Greene, in Gaffney, SC. He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro, NC in 1989. After, he attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC for 2 years before settling in Surfside Beach where he opened up his first business of about 25 years, American Lock & Key Inc. And being the driven man that he was, he started up his second business as American Services.

Chris, as most people called him, or Dad as we called him, was not really a man of many words; he expressed his love through his actions. Chris was a compassionate, dependable, selfless, hardworking man who enjoyed working, helping a friend in need, and spending time with family and friends. Chris was a loving father, son, brother, and friend of many. Chris’ children were his heart and joy, everything he did he did for them. But cancer did not beat Chris Greene. It never stood a chance. We now have the best guardian angel watching over us.
“Team Greene, Together We Fight”

Predeceased by his grandparents A.C Long, Freda Long, Frances Phillips, L.C Greene, and Colleen Greene, his uncle Gene Phillips and his cousins Tracey Jones and Zack Foreman.
