Randall William Hall, 79, of 1503 Penn St., Huntingdon, died at 3:22 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at his residence.

Born May 12, 1940, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Charles and Julia (Kuhstos) Hall. He was united in marriage to the former Betty Lancaster May 7, 1966, in Maryland. Mrs. Hall survives at their residence.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hall is also survived by three children, Amy Wagner and husband, Rick, Blairsville, and Traci DeHart and husband, Frank, and Randee Hall, all of Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Christopher Hawn of Altoona and Charles Hall and wife, Rylee, Delaney DeHart and Collin DeHart, all of Huntingdon.

He is also survived by a brother, Raymond Hall and wife, Savannah, Huntingdon.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Hall, and a sister, Nancy Bennett.

Mr. Hall served in the United States Army Artillery as a specialist 4th Class from his induction Jan. 14, 1963, at Harrisburg until his honorable discharge Jan. 4, 1965, at Fort Hamilton, New York. He served with the Headquarters 3rd Missile Battalion of the 21st Artillery Command of the USARSEVEN as an artillery rocket crewman, earning a Good Conduct Medal and a Sharpshooter M-14 Rifle Award. He completed his military obligation with the United States Army Reserve Jan. 13, 1969.

He was a 1959 graduate of Huntingdon High School.

Mr. Hall retired in 2006 after working for 10 years in the mud room of Fluid Containment, now Containment Solutions. Prior to that, he worked at Elco Corp. for 30 years.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, farming and doing small engine repairs. A lifetime resident of Huntingdon County, Mr. Hall had lived at his current address since 1990.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at the Cutright Funeral Homes — Smithfield Chapel, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Gary Hagans officiating. Interment will be made in the Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Walker Township. Full military honors will be accorded at the cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Hall to Cutright Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 594, Huntingdon, PA 16652-0594, to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
