TERRY STOKES was born on January 13, 1948 to the union of Frank and Princess Stokes. He received his formal education in Waterloo, Iowa and later relocated to Milwau-
kee' Wisconsin where he lived until the time of his passing.
He was employed at Marquette University for 35 years. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and watching sports, he especially
enjoyed watching a good boxing match.
Terry Stokes departed this life on May 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers, significant other, Carolyn Farrow, brother-in-law Willie Trotter, niece Princess Stokes and nephews Robert Earl Stokes and Terry Trotter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Terrance Stokes; daughter, Jessica Stokes (Ronnie Tillman); step-daughter, Shemika Farrow; four grandchildren, Tytiyona Stokes,
Dion Anderson, Camiona Funches and Ra'Niya Tillman; two sisters, Alice Trotter and Lottie Stokes, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
