Barb was born in Racine, WI where she raised her children and worked as a Middle School Spanish teacher. She later moved to Overland Park, KS and then after retirement moved to Burnsville, MN to be closer to family.
She is survived by husband Gary; son Joe; daughter Stephanie Sucharda Manley; brother John (Pam); sister Louise (Ed) Guziewski; stepson Lee, and 4 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
Barb was a true Italian woman in all aspects with her family coming first and food a close second. There was always enough pasta to feed an entire neighborhood. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends, her grandchildren, and her grand puppies.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, June 19 at 11 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville. Visitation at 9:30 AM (1 ½ hour prior to service).
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude Cancer Research or Our Lady of Peace Hospice…where Mom was taken care of during her last days.
