He was born September 21, 1947 in Ottumwa to Lewis Eugene and Bette Jo Burnaugh Graham Jr. He married Eunice Flactiff on January 11, 1964 and they later divorced. He married Janice Kay "Jan" Long on April 17, 1982 and she preceded him in death on February 11, 2014.
A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, Steven had co-owned and operated Jensen and Graham and Associates Land Surveying. He had worked at Millard Refrigeration and Turner Concrete, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed fishing, camping, coaching his son's baseball team, watching action and western movies, and he always carried Chapstick and gum in his pocket.
Surviving are his children, Steven (Hether) Graham Jr. of Ottumwa, twins Tammy (Chad) Burmeister of Wellman and Teresa (PJ) Evans of Ottumwa; step-son, Doug Davis; 12 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Whitney, Bailey, Chelsea, Bowen, Brody, Andrew, Joel, Justine, Caitlin, Nolan and Jack; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Randy DeLano, David DeLano and Bill Graham; sisters, Jackie DeLano and Barb Brinegar several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Kevin Davis; sisters, Bette Lou Palmer and Cindy Graham.
His body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor M el Kendall officiating.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice serving Davis and Wapello Counties or American Cancer Society.
