Vernon Dean Tucker, Jr., 62, passed away peacefully August 21, 2019 at his home.

Dean was born February 19, 1957 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Vernon Dean Tucker, Sr. and Alice Gertrude (Lewis) Tucker. He attended the Blackfoot schools. He later moved to Pocatello.

Dean was a hard worker, and worked alongside his Dad at Bettis Trucking. He also worked at Burke Farms, One Stop Auto, C.S.K. Auto Parts, E.I.S.F., Denny’s, and as a notary public.

Dean’s hobbies were wrestling, watching western movies, playing the stuffed animal machine, Patsy Cline, coffee with friends, and family gatherings.

Dean is survived by a brother, Rocky Tucker, of Blackfoot; a step-brother, Norman (Cindy) Cannon, of Blackfoot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, his niece, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Mountain View Cemetery, 1540 S. 5th Avenue.
