She was a Christian, baptized at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Grandview. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Edwards for many years. She loved family gatherings and being with her friends. She loved to watch her daughter Carlie play volleyball and cherished her son John's drawings.
She was preceded in death by her grand-parents, Daniel and Josie Stump and Rudolph and Gerthleen Hall.
Survivors, her parents; her son, John Adrian Martin; her daughter, Carlie Rae Cox; her sister, Denise Matherly; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Services celebrating her life at noon, Friday, October 4, 2013 in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Prosperity, West Virginia, with the Rev. Darrell Cox officiating. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, West Virginia.
