GRANDVIEW - Nelda Kay Burton, 74, passed away Monday, Aug.19, 2019.
Nelda was born on Aug.11, 1945, to John Willis and Zula Salsman Nowell in Fort Worth. She met the love of her life, John Burton, and they married in 1973.
Nelda worked for Vought Aircraft Company in Dallas for 33 years and retired in 2000. She enjoyed trips to the mountains with her family to snow ski. After retirement, she enjoyed quilting, tap dancing, and cruises.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers, Willis and Wayne Nowell.
Survivors: Husband of 45 years, John Burton; sons, Johnnie and wife, Megan and Bryan Burton and wife, Brandy; grandson, Bailey Burton; granddaughter, Bristal Burton; and three nieces and one nephew.
