WORLAND -- April Renee Mitchell, 33, died Friday, July 6, 2012 in Worland.
April was born on Feb. 15, 1979 in Worland to Paul and Mary Jane "Janie" Mitchell. She grew up and graduated from Worland High School in 1998.
In June of 1998, April married and a son, Dominic, was born. She later divorced and moved to Rock Springs, where she married again. A daughter, Lakota, was born to this union. April and her family moved back to Worland in 2008, where she was employed by Crown Cork and Seal. In 2012 she divorced for the second time, but continued living in Worland raising her two children.
April was active in the LDS Church and involved with Girl Scouts. She enjoyed sewing, home improvement projects, camping, bowling and spending time with her children, family and friends. She was a loving and caring person that was always involved with something. Her smile was infectious.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
Survivors include her two children, her parents, aand sisters all of Worland; brother of Gillette; grandmother, nephews, nieces, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center with Bishop Jerry Kienlen officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel and again one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial donations may be made in April's name for a fund to be set up for her children's education. These may be sent in care of Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 524, Worland, WY 82401.
