Ann Marie (Charbonneau) Riley died peacefully Sunday, July 7, 2019 just shy of her 92nd birthday. She lived a full life of service, faith and love.

Ann was born in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Napoleon P. Charbonneau and Blanche (Landry) Charbonneau, the youngest of their 6 children. After high school, Ann graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. That calling remained with her throughout her life.

Along with her husband, Jack Riley, she raised 5 children and travelled the country with a sense of adventure. Widowed in 1969, Ann continued to work as an OR nurse and perfusionist for cardiovascular surgeons, then as a clinical specialist for several medical device companies.

Ann's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by Kate Riley and her husband Scott Prentice; John Riley and his daughters Emma and Olivia; Susan Abbott, her husband George and daughter Kieran; Mark Riley and his wife Heidi, Maryann Esh, her husband Andrew and children Amelia, Natalie and Genevieve. She is also survived by her brothers Arol and Art, and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Adelaide, Arline and Anita; husband Jack and an infant son.
Ann's family would like to thank the staff at Catholic Eldercare -- MainStreet Lodge for their truly loving care for the past 3 years.
