Lloyd Taylor, 86 of Pana, Illinois died Friday, August 23, 2019 at 4:38 AM at Heritage Health Care, Pana, Illinois. Lloyd Taylor was born Sunday, March 19, 1933 in Brownstown, Illinois the son of Noah Albert and Nellie D. (maiden name Hunter) Taylor. Lloyd was raised in Pana and graduated Pana High School with the Class of 1951. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the United States Army from April 15, 1953 to March 21, 1955. Lloyd married Pauline LaVonne Zueck on July 25, 1959 in St. Louis Catholic Church, Nokomis, Illinois. Lloyd was employed as a truck driver for Swain & Myers, a millwright for Borg-Warner, and was retired from International Paper in Shelbyville, Illinois.
Lloyd Taylor is survived by Wife: Pauline Taylor of Pana; Daughter: Angel Lynch (Scott) of Witt; Sons: Nick Taylor (Cheryl) of Pana and Jeremy Taylor (Stacy) of Pana; Grandsons: Dirk Taylor of Oconee; Michael Lesser of Springfield; and Derrick Lesser of Pana; Granddaughters: Laura Strange of Shelbyville; and Amber Miller of Mt. Zion; nine (9) Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Dick Taylor (Dusty) of Pana; Bob Taylor (Faye) of Monterey, Tennessee; Neil Taylor (Bette) of Ruskin, Florida; and Charlie Taylor (Sue) of Pana. Lloyd is preceded in death by his Parents and a Grandson, Coady Miller.
