She does have a birth rec for Apr-May-Jun 1838, and the 1880 census at Boston states she was b. Apr 1838 at England. Unless somebody retrieved the birth cert and it has an actual birth date, or found her baptism with an actual birth given, the only thing we know for sure is that she was b. Apr 1838 at Mutford, Suffolk, England. I actually went by the census not knowing for sure it was her birth cert at Mutford; I would have felt better of it seeing her father's name on that birth cert. A few of her sibs were registered at Mutford; they were at Mutford for the 1841 census, so I don't feel so unsure about this. Mary Ann was baptized at Southtown, Suffolk, England, so does the census actually South Town and not Sonning Town?
