Mr. Don Lewis Rogers, age 89, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on August 24, 2019 in the Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge, GA. Born in Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late Ira Burl and Elizabeth Elonore Pope Rogers. Don served his country proudly during the Korea War in the United States Army. He also owned and operated Roger's Furniture for over 30 years. Don is also preceded in death by his siblings, Vedith Richards, Leo Nicholson, H.V. Rogers, Hoyt Rogers, Vaughn Rogers and Raymond Rogers.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel, Blue Ridge, GA. Interment will follow in the Sweet Gum Baptist Church Cemetery.
