Lucille C. Kate (Killian) Keener, 84, of Whitehall passed on Tuesday January 22, 2008, in St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Alvin E. Keener who died in 1993. Born in Detroit, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Oda and Grace (Richards) Killian. Lucille worked for many years as a garment worker for Fullerton Sportswear. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitehall. She was also a den mother with Cub Scouts Troop 96. Lucille enjoyed cooking, camping and traveling to Alaska and Canada.

Survivors: A son, Ernest and his wife Sandra Keener from Grand Ronde, Ore.; daughter, Linda and her husband Louis Taylor with whom she resided, and daughter Kathleen, wife of Scott Lindenmuth of Catasauqua; sister, Lorraine and her husband Harrison Coleman of Novi, Mich.; stepbrother, Howard and his wife Marilyn Killian of Las Vegas, Nev.; step sisters, Pat Reynolds and Zelma of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John A. Keener, step sister Roxy.

Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, in the John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua. Call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home.
