Thomas "Ryan" Newman, 23, of Ellettsville, passed away on July 30th, 2019.
He is survived by his grandmother, Donna Newman, of Bloomington; his father, Joe Newman, of Ellettsville; his mother, Carol Bruner, of Bloomington; his brother Matt and his sister Jennifer Newman, both from Ellettsville.
Ryan attended Edgewood High School where he lettered in baseball and basketball all four years.
In his free time Ryan loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He even won the 2015 City golf tournament in his flight. He was also an avid pool player.
Most of all, Ryan was a proud UPS driver. He couldn't wait to come home and tell everyone all about the route he drove that day and the people he got to talk to. He had a way of making friends with everyone around him, and that is a quality that's hard to come by.
Visitation for Ryan will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville.
