Mrs. Billie Grace Thomley Burbank, 82, of Ozark, died Saturday, August 12, 2017, at her home following an extended illness surrounded by her family. A memorial service for Mrs. Burbank will be held 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Burbank was born April 19, 1935 in Wicksburg, Alabama to the late Lester Lee Thomley and Manda Hollis Thomley. She worked as a sales clerk with Army and Air Force Exchange Service at the Fort Rucker Post Exchange for several years. She was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Arthur Burbank; one son, John David Burbank; and two sisters, Joyce Thomley Avant and Judy Ann McLendon. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Janet Burbank of Ozark; one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Reverend Hosea Parker of Malvern; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald Lee and Debbie Thomley of Old Town, Florida; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Howard and Lillian Burbank of Massachusetts; one aunt, Lucille Herring of Wicksburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
