Gail Luellan Hernandez, 62, of Sterling passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Greeley. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 3 at Tennant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday, Sept. 4 at Tennant Funeral Home with a luncheon immediately following.
Gail was born on December 18, 1952 in Sterling to Owen and LaDonna (Gorham) Budd. She worked hard at various places throughout her life and recently retired. She also worked hard and received her GED in 2000. She was married to Randall Hernandez Sr. She loved her home, gardening, plants, marshmallow (her dog) and her neighbors. She loved her family very much and was a good wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She fought this battle with much prayer and the strength of her Lord Jesus Christ and now she is with Him forever, never to suffer again. She is greatly and forever will be missed.
She is survived by her husband Randall Hernandez Sr. of Sterling; sons Ron Minniear and wife Andrea of Haigler, NE and Coleman Minniear and wife Marcy of Sterling; daughter Bobbie and husband Cory Reeve of Sterling; step-children Shantel Hernandez of Denver, Randy Hernandez Jr. and wife Amber of Denver; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters Kalleen Budd of Sterling and Claudia Budd of Las Animas; brother Wade Budd of Tampa, Florida; brother-in-law Jim Hernandez and wife Penny of Sterling; sister-in-law Veronica of Sterling; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Owen and LaDonna Budd.
