Obituary: William Forrest “Bill” Hull, age 76, of Walkersville, WV passed away on August 23, 2019 in Morgantown, WV. He was born in Lewis County, WV on June 07, 1943 to the late William Wellington and Agnes Forrest Curry Hull. Bill and his loving wife Judy Carol Modesitt Hull just celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. He was a graduate of Walkersville High School and Franklin Institute of Boston, MA. He worked as a machinist at Equitrans f0r 30 years before his retirement in 1998. From the time he was just a little boy, farming was in Bill’s blood. He was happiest when tending to his farm and family. He enjoyed the challenge of turkey hunting in beautiful Almost Heaven and cheering on Lewis County Minutemen Sports. He was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan both at the track and at home. Bill was a caring and conscientious man who was active in his community. He was a charter member of Ireland Lions Club, a member of Farm Bureau, a board member of Farm Service agency and a member of WV Cattlemans Association. He practiced his Christian faith at United Methodist Church of Ireland. Those who will miss Bill the most are his two daughters: Michele Simms and husband, Charles of Weston, WV and Spring Lamb and husband, John A. Lamb III of South Haven MS; three grandchildren: Mary Hochgesang and husband, Joseph, Charles William Simms and Rhiannon Lamb; two brothers: Joseph and Boone Hull; one sister Debra Hornick, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; his many friends and his two best pals and feline friends Fletcher Ray and Alley Cat. Bill has been reunited with his parents; brother Terry Hull and his floppy eared canine companion, Annie. Friends and family will gather at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 144 Hackers Creek Road, Jane Lew on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 27, with Pastor Dwayne Brown officiating.
