Erma Ruth (Fulmer) Aldriedge, 93, of Martinsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at her home with family by her side. She was born on May 4, 1926 in Portland, TN to Earl and Addie (Monroe) Fulmer.

Erma married the love of her life Benjamin Franklin Aldriedge on February 1, 1941 in Tennessee. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer, IN. Erma was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting.

Erma is survived by her six daughters, Ruth Ann Shelby, Shirley Moore (Riki), Frances Castner (Rolland), Barbara Ayers (Sam), Mary Jane Brummett (Don) and Brenda Stafford (Tom); nineteen grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Aldriedge, parents, brother Arthur Fulmer, sister Dessi Greene, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
