Norma Lee Myers, 87, of Anderson, passed away on Aug. 22, 2019, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
She was born on July 27, 1932, in Anderson, to Vernon and Frances (Stiles) Hiles.
Norma graduated from Anderson High School in 1950. She retired from the Herald Bulletin in delivery.
She was a member of the Anderson Order of Eastern Star. She loved her family, playing cards and board games.
She is survived by her children, Greg Myers of Lapel, James (Ellen) Myers of Englewood, Florida, William Myers of Anderson, Sarah Davis of Anderson, Scott Hiles of Bedford, Kent Hiles of Hartford City; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James G. Myers; daughters, Susan Elaine McClendon, Capt. Lisa Hiles of the United States Navy; and brother, Vernon Hiles.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post 127, 4118 Columbus Ave., Anderson.
