Ms. Turner was the daughter of the late James W. and Pattie Brown Turner. She was a retired educator in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system. Left to cherish her memories is a son; Wesley 'Mark' Turner, grandchildren; Samuel and Kayla, sister; Cynthia Turner-Williams and brother; Stanley Turner.
