Eileen Mae Anderson, age 95, of St. Charles, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She had been a lifelong resident of St. Charles. She was born July 24, 1922, in Geneva, IL, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mable [sic, recte Mabel] Smith. She had been employed by Howell Manufacturing Company in St. Charles and the Kane County Extension. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Michaelis of St. Charles, two grandchildren, Stefanie Michaelis and Stephen Michaelis. Also a brother, Edward Frances Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas, and a son, Scott. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
