She was born February 15, 1957, in York PA to the late Wilmont Banks and the late Ruben (Atterberry) Banks.
Patricia was a loving and kind companion of Eric P Deshields for 42 years.
Patricia received her high school diploma and achieved an associate's Degree in Medical Assistant.
Patty worked for Bon Ton Distribution as a line worker and after obtaining her degree worked at the York Hospital.
Growing up in a large family the 15th child of 19 she was responsible for raising the younger siblings while Momma went to work.
She was a wonderful organizer and decorator. Patty loved her family, not just her immediate family but considered all of her son's friends as her children.
She loved cooking, baking, dancing, and crafts.
Patty loved the Lord and loved music gospel and oldies. Her smile lit up the room.
She was so positive and her spirit will reign in us forever.
Patty leaves to morn 3 sons: Rudy Banks (Jordan, Briaunna, Devante, Sienna, and Chase) fiancé Christina; Eric Banks; Phillip DeShields (Isiah, Ta'Siah ).
A special gentleman that she considered her adopted son Tino Conquest.
Patty leaves to mourn a brother; Kenneth L. Banks (Denise) of Glen Mills, PA, seven sisters Priscilla Kinard, Georgia M. Green, Estella R. Bowie, Dorothea A. Alam, Bertha L. Palmer (Leonard), Laurie A. Freeland (Greg) all of York PA. Patty considered the DeShields family to be a great part of her life. She also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great, great, and great great great nieces nephews, and an abundance of friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her brothers Wilmon Banks, James Banks, Herman Banks, Ernest Banks, Irvin Banks, sisters: Bette Donahue and Frances G. Banks.
