Pearl Burney Mann, 96, of High Point passed away peacefully at Westchester Harbour in High Point late Sunday night, July 14, 2019.
Mrs. Mann was born May 26,1923 in Bladen County, a daughter of Warren and Carrie Prevatte Burney of Tarheel, NC. She married Hebron Stamper Mann also of Tarheel. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Mann was a member of Springfield Baptist Church as well as a proud member of Drexel Heritage Furniture where she worked as an upholsterer; a job from which she retired in the late 1980s.
She was also reunited in Heaven with her parents, five siblings, Clara Hines, Henry Burney, Warren Burney, Jr, Lee Burney, and Lloyd Burney, all of Tarheel; two sons, Daniel Clinton Mann of High Point and Joseph Bruce Mann of Archdale and grandchild, Jonathan Spencer Mann, of High Point.
Surviving are a son, Stanley Leon Mann of Archdale, his wife Dianne Mann, their two children Robert David Mann and Stanley Hebron Mann, Jr, wife Jennifer Mann, daughter Anna Mann and; daughter-in-law, Deborah Haley Mann; Tracey Mann Bepler, her husband Gerold and their children Tristan Wendlyn Bepler, Breiton Ernst Bepler, Isabelle Halely Bepler, and Christian Gerold Bepler of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Danny Mann, wife Heather O'Briant Mann and their children Haley Bree Mann, Kenzie Briant Mann, and Spencer James Mann of High Point; and Nicholas McCauley Mann, wife Brianne West Mann and their child Jack Hayden Mann due in August also of High Point.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at Sechrest Funeral Home, 1301 E. Lexington Ave, High Point. The Reverend Josh Gentle of Woodlawn Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Garden Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral services at 12:00 pm.
