Mrs. Diane Fields, age 76 of Memphis, passed from this life at her home on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 of natural causes.

Ms. Fields was born November 6, 1942 to Garland and Juanita Butcher McCormick in S. Charleston, West Virginia. She lived in Houston and Conroe, TX before moving back to Memphis where she had met her husband, Vernon Fields some 34 years prior to their marriage on April 20, 1989. They spent the next 30 years together happily in the Memphis area. She loved to cook and was a hard worker, waitressing at various restaurants, until she joined Kettle Restaurants while in Texas and then also in Memphis. She was a Baptist in belief.

Survivors include her husband; 4 daughters, Phyllis Roy (Gene) of Oakland, TN, Tammy Wilson of Arlington, TN, Vanita Powers of Oxford, MS and Hope Woods (Richard) of Memphis; a sister, Rebecca Alderman of Conroe, TX; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
