My Great Uncle Mack was a man of many talents. He was a great wood worker, hair stylists, ship builder, creator, designer and builder of a wooden car ( yes, it actually worked!) and a world class story teller. He loved his local High School Football and as far as I know, NEVER missed a game, He was the keeper of the Dunkin Cemetery, driving from Orange to Lufkin every couple of weeks to mow and keep the family cemetery in good repair. He helped anyone in need. Known by Uncle "Match" by many of his nieces and nephews which he loved dearly.

As a young girl, Uncle Match build me a toy chest. It looked like a bench but you could open it up to house toys. It was painted white and had my initials in it in gold.

A truly unique person.
