Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 until 7:00 Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to “Trenton Booster Club” or an organization of your choice, they can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
Warren Eugene Griffin was born on September 29, 1934 near Spickard, MO the son of Hugh and Vicy (Dinsmore) Griffin. He graduated from Princeton High School. On February 20, 1954, he married Vera Curtis of Modena, MO. He hauled milk until he began working at Modine Manufacturing. He then went to work for the Missouri Highway Department in 1973. After 24 years of service, he retired from the Highway Department in 1997. He enjoyed going to Trenton's sporting events of all kinds. He was known among the players for his Werther's candy and was always willing to share.
He is survived his wife; four children; sister; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard and Wayne; one nephew, Mark Griffin; and one son-in-law Rolo Heuett.
