Norman L. Wright, 68, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at his home in Roselle Park, N.J., with his loving family by his side.
He was born in the Ironbound Section of Newark, N.J., where he resided until moving to Roselle Park in 1999.
Norm was a telecom technician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 164 of Paramus, N.J., for 34 years, retiring in 2014.
He was the beloved husband of 50 years of Evelyn Ann (nee Weigel) Wright; devoted and loving father of Norman R. Wright and his wife, Yolanda; dear brother of Patricia Harvey and her husband, John, and Helen Wright and the late Russell (Rusty) Wright; cherished grandfather of Nicholas J. Wright and Austin M. Wright. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Norman will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 8 a.m., at the Buyus Funeral Home, 426 Lafayette St. at Wilson Ave., Newark, N.J. 07105. Thence to St. Casimir's Church, Newark, where at 9 a.m. the Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment is at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, N.J. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Visitation for Norm will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, from 4 to 8 p.m.
