Funeral services were held Monday from the WL Froehley Funeral Home in Lake St. for Walter F. Kofeju of South Park Avenue who died last Thursday following a short illness. Mr. Kofeju was assistant chief of the Bethlehem Steel Company Fire Department at the time of his death. The Rev. Irving Tepas, minister of West Seneca E & R Church officiated with burial in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. Mr. Kofeju was a member of Lackwanna Lodge, F & AM. He leaves his wife, Lorain Harold Kofeju, sister Josephine Kofeju and a brother Carl Kofeju.
