Born on March 16, 1946 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Kimbrough and Helen Lucille Rucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marsherry Kimbrough; sister-in-law, Pochie Maddox, and mother and father-in-laws, Margaret and Charlie White.
Bertha is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Franklin Roosevelt White; sons, Charles “Jimmy” Kimbrough and Ernie Jarod Deese; two grandchildren; sisters, Gail K. Smith, Anita K. (Arnold) Feimster, Debbie Feimster, Debra Dalton, Curtis Kimbrough; brother-in-law, Charles White; special friends, Bobby and Lynn Sexton, and sister-in-laws, Annie Ruth White, Mayhelen Daye, Hazel White, Debra Jean White, Virginia Tucker, and Doris Crosby and a host of nieces and nephews.
Burial at Belmont Cemetery.
