Jimmy Pittman, age 81, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019. He was born in Lula, Georgia on August 18, 1938 to the late Homer Gordan Pittman and the late Letha Aurora Pittman. Jimmy was employed with Lowes in Douglasville until his retirement. He was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Pike Pittman; children: Marjorie and Michael Pope, Joy and Barry Farlett, David and Cindy Pittman, Chris and Shannon Pittman, Julie Edwards, Rick and Cecelia Hamilton; grandchildren: Victoria Rogers, Autumn Farlett, Colton Pittman, Timothy Pittman, Jacob Pittman, Adrianna Pope, Hayley Pittman, Holly Pittman, Sarah Pittman, Faith Pittman, Easton Farlett, Brooke Brown, Emily Powless, Connie Hamilton, Erin Edwards; sister: Bobbie Jean Martin; brother: Floyd and Claudine Pittman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Lisa Louise Pittman.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Bryan Alexander and Pastor Darryl Jones officiating.
Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
