On Thursday August 8,2019 Brenda Wiggins; loving wife and mother of four children passed away in McDonough, Georgia at the age of 69. Brenda was born on Jan 3, 1950 in Atlanta, Ga to Ralph and Nettie Ruth Ashworth (now Thompson).
Brenda's biggest joy in life was spending time with her husband Walter,her children and grandchildren. She loved entertaining and always opened her home to family and friends; making everyone feel welcome. She loved the outdoors, specifically working in her garden, and going hunting and camping. She was seen as a mother figure to countless friends of her children and was known for her kind and compassionate spirit.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father Ralph and stepmother,Doris Ashworth; As well as her mother Nettie Ruth and stepfather;Ed Thompson of Atlanta,GA. Brenda leaves behind her husband of 39 years;Walter Edward Wiggins Jr., her four children,Garry,William,Mandy and Jennifer,eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dog Daisy.
A celebration of Life for Brenda will be held at Destination Church, 96 South Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA,30253 on Sat Aug 17, 2019; Officiated by Pastor Ricky Mosel. Visitation will precede the service from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Church.
