Judy P. Lawson, 72, of Plant City, Florida, born on February 5, 1947, entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2019. She loved her family and grandchildren, and spending time with friends. She enjoyed planning parties, social gatherings, flea markets, and craft shows. She especially enjoyed attending her Plant City High School class of 1966 Reunions, and her outings with the Class of ‘66 girls.She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Lawson; brothers, Paul David Gould, and James Harwell; mother, Wanda Harwell; and father, Willliam F. Cone. She is survived by her children, Dena Johnson Clark (James “Mike”), Deprina McNamara (Dan), and Darryl Johnson; grandchildren, Darren Johnson, Dawayne Clark, Daniel McNamara, Danielle McNamara, Desiree Johnson, Dustin Johnson, and Sawyer Johnson; great grandchildren, Dayla Johnson, and Remington Frietsch; siblings, Shirley Cone, Willie Cone, and Jimmy Gould; and special friend, Paul Antczak. A funeral will be held Saturday, August 24 at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 S County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M.
