He moved to Upland in 1963 from Gas City. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Marion. He enjoyed spending time on his computer and was an accomplished oil painter.
Survivors include his son, Brian (Amy) Nose, Upland; daughter, Libby (Mark) Douglass, Greencastle; two brothers, Frank (Pat) Nose, Benton Harbor, Mich., Bob Nose, Indianapolis; two sisters, Lynn Redden, Kokomo, Becky (Joe) Bartrum, Gas City; and five grandchildren, Nicole (A.J.) Hamm, Christy, Shelly, Jennifer and Ian.
