Rites will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel for Miss Mary Roberts Murfreesboro, 82, member of a pioneer Rutherford County family, who died Monday at Rutherford Hospital.
Miss Murfreesboro was the daughter of the late Dr. James B. and Ada Talley Murfreesboro.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, honorary life member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and charter member of the Col. Hardy Murfreesboro chapter DAR.
A sister, Mrs. T.V. Ordway, Anniston, Ala., and several nieces and nephews are the survivors.
Pallbearers will be Morris Hoover, Dr. M.B. Murfreesboro, Dr. Stanley Barham, C.B. Huggins Jr., J.W. Huggins II, Jimmy Haynes and C.B. Huggins III
