Dustin Avery Moore, 40, of Sanger, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Gainesville, Texas. The son of Larry Grant and Joanne Catherine (Werner) Moore, he was born on January 25, 1979 in Daytona Beach, FL.
Dustin grew up in Sanger and was a member of the Bolivar Baptist Church. He married Johnnie Leona (Evans) Hicks and they made their home in Sanger where they raised their two sons. He was employed by Hicks Lightening Protection as an installer.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Larry Moore and a brother, Thomas Oliver Reed Moore. Those who live on to cherish his memory are his wife, Johnnie of Sanger; his mother Joanne Moore of Eustis, FL; two sons, Riley Avery Moore and Brandon “Bug” Hicks of Sanger; two brothers, Danny Michael Moore of Eustis, FL and David Allen Moore of Sanger; two aunts, Rebecca Ann Moore of Sanger and Norma Jean Banks of Boswell, OK.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 7pm to 9pm at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. A private burial will be held in the Sanger Cemetery in Sanger, Texas.
