Funeral services for Lessie Mae Howe, age 90, will be held at 10 am on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Pratt Cemetery in Idlewild, TN. Services will be conducted by Bro. Stephen Powell, Pastor of Westside Baptist Church in Trenton, TN.
Miss Howe, a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Trenton, TN., passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Trenton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, TN., where she was a resident for several years. She formerly lived with her niece, Jackie Howe Johnson and husband, JIm prior to being placed in the Trenton Nursing Home Facility.
Miss Howe was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Emma (Townsend) Howe; her two brothers, Guy Howe and Hallie Howe both of Trenton and sister Dorothy Howe Eddlemon of Rutherford, TN.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great and great great nieces and nephews. Miss Lessie never had any children of her own.
