Born in Oconee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Duncan “CD” and Hattie Childress Perry. Miss Perry was a member of the 1954 graduating class of Oakway High School, was retired from Harpers 5 & 10 of Seneca where she worked as the Assistant Manager, and she was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church. Charlene loved long walks on the beach and had a love for everyone and never met a stranger
Survivors include a brother, Gerald Perry of Liberty; sisters, Fredda Crane and Loretta Greer of Seneca; numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Anthony Perry, Roderick Perry, Rayford Perry and Rudolph Perry; and sisters, Kathleen Sheriff and Doris Morgan.
Burial at Oconee Memorial Park.
