"Leo Forest Elliott, 90, of Cambridge died Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
"Leo Forest Elliott was born February 15, 1915 near Cambridge, the son of Ira Ivin & Lottie (Scott) Elliott. He was a member of Cambridge Methodist Church.
"He is survived by one brother, Jim (Margaret) Elliott of Ames and many nieces & nephews.
"He was preceded in death by his parents: two brothers, Ivin & Frank: and four sisters, Sylvia Bump, Edna Rainey, Elva Schuler and Goldie Becker.
"Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday Aug. 5, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.
"Memorials may be made to Cambridge United Methodist Church.
"Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is in charge of arrangements."
